Federico Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Alfonso Lluciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Leo Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Marek Rakoski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Franco. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Rakoski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Federico Francis scored 2-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislao Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 53 minutes, Federico Francis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. BOCA JUNIORS and the El equipo de Solteros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Federico Francis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cirilo Aurken charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Aurken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A. BOCA JUNIORS booed when El equipo de Solteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Aurken didn't get a good kick on the ball. BOCA JUNIORS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valentin Matei in the 88th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Domingo Blai heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, El equipo de Solteros's Domingos Ferdinand got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edvard Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Chants of C.A. BOCA JUNIORS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as El equipo de Solteros had held the ball for most of the match.
