The supporters of DEPORTIVO CHINCHI booed when Furia XeneiZe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Talat Başdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talat Başdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Brito came out of the goal and Daniel Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Furia XeneiZe's Diogo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Erdiano in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Furia XeneiZe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Talat Başdemir who took care of the corner kick. Ramiro Videl was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Benicio Ikatz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Daniel Erdiano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Diogo Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO CHINCHI. After a defensive mix-up in Furia XeneiZe's zone, Talat Başdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Brito came out of the goal and Talat Başdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Furia XeneiZe's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Erdiano came free, but Diogo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Erdiano to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Daniel Erdiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diogo Brito. That made the score 1-4 after 57 minutes of play. Diogo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián López, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Erdiano in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Furia XeneiZe's Diogo Brito got control of the ball when Talat Başdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Daniel Erdiano got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julián López got free with Diogo Brito in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match, Talat Başdemir got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diogo Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Talat Başdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Talat Başdemir made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Julián López came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the DEPORTIVO CHINCHI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julián López couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Erdiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEPORTIVO CHINCHI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
