When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Javier Ospin sped through TRIGALES AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ezequiel Benvido. BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Leo Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Sha Ang. TRIGALES AFC's Ezequiel Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Ospin in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the TRIGALES AFC defense, Gilbert Gabrielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Benvido. The TRIGALES AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Benvido should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Yu Sha Ang might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yu Sha Ang ran back to his position shaking his head. TRIGALES AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Gilbert Gabrielsson scored to the left of an out of position Ezequiel Benvido, making the score, 0-13.
