Lucio Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes, Godfredo Bernad made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. The Hanging Tree's Lucio Joey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Godfredo Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medanito's Godfredo Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Godfredo Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Ilixo got free with Lucio Joey in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucio Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored The Hanging Tree's protests and gave Dani Stone a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes The Hanging Tree got a freekick which was hit by Dani Stone. Gert-Jan De Witte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Julian Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Godfredo Bernad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Hanging Tree's Lucio Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godfredo Bernad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Lucio Joey made a huge save. Sergio Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lucio Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medanito. Dante Moise hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Godfredo Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medanito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
