In the 38thth minute of the game Primitivo Enetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banfield's Horacio Janpier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Primitivo Enetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Eulalio Frederico notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PoRtUgAl hOcKeY's Hermengildo Romero. Hermengildo Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Banfield could leave the field as winners, despite PoRtUgAl hOcKeY having more of the ball for most of the match.
