In the 15th minute, Horacio Dolfo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Berasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Segura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Örjan Lind. San Lorenzo de Laferrere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Segura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 20 played minutes felipesss got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Lartaun. Fernando Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Miliano in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Ferrando in the 23rd minute of play forced felipesss's goalkeeper Fernando Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Marciano Ferrando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Berasko. Fernando Berasko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Gamus to strike the kick off in the second half. San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Rene Miliano got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Rene Miliano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Ferrando scored 9-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Berasko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Marciano Ferrando made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Berasko. felipesss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. After 87 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Horacio Dolfo made it 13-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Berasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marciano Ferrando's late challenge caught a felipesss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Marciano Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Segura in the 96th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Laferrere's goalkeeper Örjan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Lorenzo de Laferrere fully deserved thier win.
