After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Çağdaş Bedi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Çağdaş Bedi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coronel Pringles's Aristides Olayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Coronel Pringles from getting a goal against them. Aristides Olayo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Milito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After 20 played minutes Coronel Pringles got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Egun. Marciano Hartz, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Cristo Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Josu Gómez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Orlando Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Hector Mannuel made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Cordearo. Arsenal F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Aristides Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Milito in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The wind increased when Diego Milito made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Coronel Pringles's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Turi came free, but Aristides Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Diego Milito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Milito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Josu Gómez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Aristides Olayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal F.C.. In the 58th minute, Diego Milito made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 66th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coronel Pringles's Aristides Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Milito in the 68th minute of play. Aristides Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josu Gómez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Clemente Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Diego Milito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Goiz's late challenge caught a Arsenal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Turi in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josu Gómez in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Coronel Pringles got a freekick which was hit by Albino Cordarryl. 81 minutes into the game, Cristo Turi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Aristides Olayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Coronel Pringles defense, Diego Milito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Olayo. The Coronel Pringles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Olayo should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 8-2 when Diego Milito sped through Coronel Pringles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aristides Olayo. In the 94th minute of the match, Vinicio Argenis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemente Cordearo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diego Milito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arsenal F.C. had played much better football throughout.
