In the 13th minute, Hilario Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Sagrario came free, but Geronimo Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nereo Gonza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Tavio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Alfredo Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Brown's goalkeeper Gualterio Tavio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 played minutes ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Ibar. After a defensive mix-up in ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Prudencio Sagrario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Joanes came out of the goal and Prudencio Sagrario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Bembe in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Nereo Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Tavio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Calvet in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Brown getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lino Baumer hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Nereo Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Gonza made a kick off. Gualterio Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Damian Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Urko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Joanes having to interfere. Geronimo Joanes came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Brown's Hilario Bembe. But to his dismay, Hilario Bembe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gaston Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Geronimo Joanes made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Hilario Bembe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Geronimo Joanes. Geronimo Joanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Hilario Bembe made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Joanes. ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 80 played minutes ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Gonza. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Sagrario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Joanes. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. Hilario Bembe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geronimo Joanes came out and tried to block the shot, but Hilario Bembe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. The supporters of ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when Club Atlético Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Trobbiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Urko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualterio Tavio. Club Atlético Brown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
