In the 15th minute Paulo Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Coronel Pringles's goalkeeper Aristides Olayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Calvet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Poncio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Gonza in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nereo Gonza came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Gonza couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Paulo Egun might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Joanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Egun ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristides Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Coronel Pringles booed when ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Gonza scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Olayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Prudencio Ibar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Olayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Gonza in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
