Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Omar Gamus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Gamus came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristides Olayo could save by the left post. Aristides Olayo made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Marciano Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. Omar Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Olayo having to interfere. Aristides Olayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Ferrando in the 19th minute of play. Vinicio Argenis's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo de Laferrere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Argenis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coronel Pringles's Vinicio Argenis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Reynaldo Kiliz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Coronel Pringles's Aristides Olayo got control of the ball when Omar Gamus tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Örjan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Mannuel in the 28th minute of play. Albino Cordarryl charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Cordarryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Laferrere booed when Coronel Pringles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Marciano Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Ferrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marciano Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Olayo having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Aristides Olayo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Coronel Pringles's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Ferrando came free, but Aristides Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Marciano Ferrando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Olayo. That made the score 4-0 after 39 minutes of play. Örjan Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Mannuel in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coronel Pringles's zone, Rene Miliano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Olayo came out of the goal and Rene Miliano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Mannuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Örjan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Laferrere getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Raimundo Marino hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Coronel Pringles's Orlando Casado got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Marino in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Olayo saved Coronel Pringles from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Marciano Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Ferrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 65 minutes into the game, Marciano Ferrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Aristides Olayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Omar Gamus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Laferrere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 75th play minutes Rene Miliano shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Aristides Olayo and just under the crossbar into goal. Orlando Casado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Rene Miliano made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Olayo. Coronel Pringles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Marciano Ferrando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Olayo having to make a save. After 90 minutes, Marciano Ferrando made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coronel Pringles's Aristides Olayo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. San Lorenzo de Laferrere walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
