Arsenal F.C.'s Clemente Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Amato in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Plaza Jewell's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Hartz was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 10 minutes, Agustin Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal F.C. and the Plaza Jewell players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Armando Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Iratxo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Roland in the 20th minute of play forced Arsenal F.C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Plaza Jewell's Salvador Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arsenal F.C.'s Clemente Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Roland in the 23rd minute of play. Freddy Amato took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Cordearo. Clemente Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 34th minute, Salvador Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Jewell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Armando Azibar struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Clemente Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Jewell. In the 40th minute, Armando Azibar made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Cordearo. Arsenal F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 42nd minute, Aristides Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Roland in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Arsenal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josu Gómez to maneuver through the defense. Plaza Jewell's Salvador Roland got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Amato to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Chivu. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cristian Chivu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Jewell's zone, Marciano Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Mei came out of the goal and Marciano Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Clemente Cordearo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 62nd minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Salvador Roland sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Arsenal F.C.'s Clemente Cordearo got control of the ball when Armando Azibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Amato had several of the Arsenal F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Clemente Cordearo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Clemente Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Iratxo in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Armando Azibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Freddy Amato got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Cordearo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Jewell. Clemente Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Amato in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Freddy Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plaza Jewell eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
