After taking down the ball on San Lorenzo de Laferrere's corner Raimundo Marino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gualterio Tavio quite easily take care of the ball. Gualterio Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Örjan Lind got control of the ball when Gaston Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Dolfo came free, but Gualterio Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Flores's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Örjan Lind firmly grabbed it by the left post. 17 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Laferrere's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Bembe came free, but Örjan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örjan Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Brown. San Lorenzo de Laferrere's Örjan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Flores in the 29th minute of play. Gualterio Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Miliano in the 32nd minute of play. Ruperto Todor kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hilario Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Bembe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Örjan Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Omar Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gualterio Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Gamus in the 37th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Brown's Örjan Lind threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hilario Bembe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Bembe in the 42nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Laferrere's goalkeeper Örjan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo de Laferrere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Hilario Bembe scored to the left of an out of position Örjan Lind, making the score, 1-1. Club Atlético Brown's Gualterio Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Gamus in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Flores got free with Örjan Lind in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Gaston Flores made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Alfredo Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Örjan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gualterio Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Todor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Omar Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Hilario Bembe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Brown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Omar Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Tavio having to interfere. Club Atlético Brown made a substitution. Edgard Richie replaced Domingo Nalo. Omar Gamus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Tavio having to make a save. Club Atlético Brown were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Lorenzo de Laferrere for a fine match.
