Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamin Estevon kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Carlos Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papagayos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Rafael Vachon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papagayos and the Cuevas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Rafael Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Joey having to interfere. Gerardo Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tadeo Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Papagayos's goalkeeper Saturnino Odol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Otsoko. 30 minutes into the game, Aquilino Etxahun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papagayos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuevas the free kick. Aquilino Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Papagayos booed when Cuevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Bermudo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Joey saved Cuevas from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Vicente Otsoko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 40th minute of the match Federico Odol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Federico Odol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th match minute, Cuevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Odol to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Cuevas's Alfredo Etxepare broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Bermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Papagayos's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Otsoko came free, but Saturnino Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayos's zone, Bartolo Bikendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Odol came out of the goal and Bartolo Bikendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Bermudo in the 55th minute. Vicente Otsoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Odol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bartolo Bikendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Saturnino Odol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Papagayos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Bikendi was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 75 played minutes Cuevas got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Bikendi. The supporters of Cuevas booed when Papagayos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cuevas's zone, Carlos Bermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Joey came out of the goal and Carlos Bermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
