The long shot by Amílton Valle in the 11th minute really tested Luciano Socorro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 12th minute, Florentino Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Valle in the 15th minute of the match. Luciano Socorro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Enrique Txindoki sent off a good shot on target. Amílton Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Socorro having to interfere. Jose Tohias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Iago in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Amílton Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luciano Socorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Txindoki in the 30th minute. After 37 minutes, Baldomero Lesardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mailín and the CAHY TIO PUJIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Lesardo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CAHY TIO PUJIO's Ezequiel Admon got a free kick in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Iago made a kick off. When Marciano Iago came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mailín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Iago couldn't finish the play. After 54 played minutes CAHY TIO PUJIO got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Blanco. If Enrique Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Tohias having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Enrique Txindoki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Socorro was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Amílton Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Txindoki in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Socorro saved Mailín from getting behind. Luciano Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
