The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Cordero got free with Ildefonso Jerrald in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Urbez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Martin Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cordero in the 55th minute of play forced Moreira AFC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Jerrald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Hermanos EC's Dante Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlos Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Los Hermanos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Vedillo couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Curcio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Daniel Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hermanos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 94th minute of the match Bernardo Acosta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardo Acosta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Bernardo Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Dante Claude's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Jerrald was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
