MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC were furious when Edgar Varela was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Guillermo Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Soconcho FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Erlantz. After a rather tough play, Soconcho FC's Rodolfo Larra got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Filiberto Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Jax having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Soconcho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Gizon to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC's Serafin Ipar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When the final whistle sounded MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Soconcho FC.
