The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Mean Machine's Arnulfo Oinatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Turi. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Niceto Turi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ivan Ebardo sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Geleberto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Seclantas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Geleberto. Mean Machine's Fernan Cordaro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Niceto Turi made a huge save. Ivan Ebardo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Turi. Niceto Turi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Seclantas F.C's Epifanio Acosta in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mean Machine's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Carmelo Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pastor Gonsalve hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Seclantas F.C's Feliciano Tanio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Locaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jairo Locaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Acosta in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ivan Ebardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Niceto Turi however easily saved by the left post. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Acosta in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Locaio saved Mean Machine from getting behind. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Seclantas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Carmelo Dino made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Turi. Seclantas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 58 minutes, Santo Bertin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the Seclantas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Santo Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Epifanio Acosta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Locaio skillfully saved the ball.
