The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Soconcho FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Erlantz. When Feliciano Tanio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Seclantas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Tanio couldn't finish the play. Niceto Turi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Larra in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Epifanio Acosta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Filiberto Jax to make any attempt to save it. Filiberto Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, Seclantas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Seclantas F.C's Epifanio Acosta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The supporters of Seclantas F.C booed when Soconcho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Acosta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arnoldo Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Soconcho FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Jax had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jony Uchiha. The Seclantas F.C fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Seclantas F.C's Epifanio Acosta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Acosta to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Soconcho FC's Guillermo Gizon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jony Uchiha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seclantas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jony Uchiha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Gizon got free with Niceto Turi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Acosta in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Jax saved Soconcho FC from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Seclantas F.C's Walter Madrigal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Jax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Soconcho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Acosta came free, but Filiberto Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Larra's late challenge caught a Seclantas F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Larra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Soconcho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Larra to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Epifanio Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Filiberto Jax was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Seclantas F.C fully deserved thier win.
