The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Matia came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of 7de7 booed when MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Kostas Kouches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Gavino Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, 7de7's Kostas Kouches made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Varela hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Amancio Iraido hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Julian Matia made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Maciel. MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 38th match minute, 7de7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Gabon to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, 7de7's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Marquez came free, but Angelino Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC! MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC:s Leandro Maciel showed great skill when he stopped Gavino Silbestre:s penalty. Serafin Ipar's late challenge caught a 7de7's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Ipar helped the player get up and apologised. Leandro Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Kouches's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After 48 minutes, Kostas Kouches made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC's Leandro Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Serafin Ipar made the kick off in the second half. Leandro Maciel was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Kostas Kouches capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kostas Kouches really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Leandro Maciel came out of the goal and Kostas Kouches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Silbestre in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Jacobo Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Ramone. 7de7's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Angelino Ramone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafin Ipar's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Kouches came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Kouches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Maciel having to interfere. Gavino Silbestre might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Silbestre ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kouches in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, 7de7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Santos to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Ipar in the 84th minute of the match. Angelino Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Angelino Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, 7de7's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Marquez came free, but Angelino Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Marquez in the 95th minute of the match. Jacobo Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jacobo Marquez hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded 7de7 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MERLÍ BERGERÓN FC.
