Guillermo Gizon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Rodolfo Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soconcho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Larra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Rodolfo Larra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soconcho FC and the Procyon ᶠᶜ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soconcho FC's Rodolfo Larra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Soconcho FC's Guillermo Gizon got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Rodolfo Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Martin Tirso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soconcho FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martin Tirso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Soconcho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Procyon ᶠᶜ:s goal. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Procyon ᶠᶜ. Tobias Bihar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filiberto Jax. 2-1. Ignacio Luken came free in the 71st minute and tried to tip the ball over Epifanio Calisto, but to the joy of Procyon ᶠᶜ's supporters the ball went over. When Aldo Socorro fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Procyon ᶠᶜ's protests and gave Aldo Socorro a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Procyon ᶠᶜ got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Socorro. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ignacio Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soconcho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Jaizki in the 77th minute of play. If Ignacio Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aurelio Jaizki came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Procyon ᶠᶜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Jaizki couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Gizon in the 98th minute of the match.
