In the 4th minute Delmiro Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Killer Queen's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Tabor came free, but Serafin Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Mabrouk Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Tabor in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Abel Dubardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killer Queen and the San Lorenzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Wallman to maneuver through the defense. Killer Queen's Serafin Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Soriano in the 35th minute of play. After the first half San Lorenzo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Soriano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mabrouk Dolar scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafin Abalos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Serafin Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Chan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Aaron Piorno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Reyes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Killer Queen's Venancio Txindoki in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo's goalie prevented a goal. Eduardo Soriano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over San Lorenzo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Killer Queen throughout the match.
