Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Reyes in the 3rd minute of play. Octavio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Dubardo in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Richmond Oilers getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Aureliano Lleir hit a great ball. Killer Queen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Clemente Perpinya scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Abalos, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Jokin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafin Abalos. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Serafin Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Walter in the 22nd minute of play. Octavio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Dubardo in the 26th minute of play. Serafin Abalos was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Justino Haritz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justino Haritz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Octavio Maldonado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venancio Txindoki went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Octavio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Clemente Oto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Richmond Oilers's Wilfredo Cutberto got a free kick in the 39th minute. Octavio Maldonado came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Killer Queen's Abel Dubardo. But to his dismay, Abel Dubardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 44th match minute, Killer Queen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Bidari to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Walter was the one to do the kick off. Darwin Núñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darwin Núñez ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Abel Dubardo took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Octavio Maldonado to make any attempt to save it. 57 minutes into the game, Killer Queen's Amadeo Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Maldonado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 65 minutes into the match, Richmond Oilers's goalkeeper Octavio Maldonado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Dubardo. Abel Dubardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Octavio Maldonado made a huge save. Octavio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Chale in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Richmond Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Chale came free, but Octavio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado got control of the ball when Abel Dubardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Chale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Octavio Maldonado made a huge save. Serafin Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Jokin in the 76th minute of play. Serafin Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darwin Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Killer Queen's attack was well implemented in the 80th minute, but when Felipe Ishmael was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 95 played minutes Richmond Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Placido Jokin. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Killer Queen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
