If Benjamin Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodrigo Unax came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the San Miguel City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Unax couldn't finish the play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Chingolo City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wouter Averdijk in the 78th minute. Chingolo City FC's Wouter Averdijk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geronimo Lertxun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Piotr Wisniewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Geronimo Lertxun made a huge save. The supporters of San Miguel City booed when Chingolo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Gentiletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chingolo City FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
