Lino Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Lino Arce hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Nunez Teyo made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Romo. LUMIERE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rogelio Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Cefero in the 17th minute of the match. Nunez Teyo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Romo. Rogelio Romo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th minute, Lino Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Umea in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Lop saved Corrientes FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Corrientes FC defense, Tobias Umea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Lop. The Corrientes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Lop should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Corrientes FC booed when LUMIERE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Corrientes FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Corrientes FC's Nunez Teyo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Cefero in the 45th minute of play forced LUMIERE F.C.'s goalkeeper Rogelio Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tobias Umea made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, LUMIERE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Beat came free, but Rogelio Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Feliberto Beat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogelio Romo, 1-4. A collision led to Corrientes FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Amador Ermengol hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, LUMIERE F.C.'s Lisandro Maraman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godofredo Lop came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LUMIERE F.C. reached it. Rogelio Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Teyo in the 73rd minute of play. Nunez Teyo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Rogelio Romo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damian Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Romo having to interfere. Nunez Teyos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Rogelio Romo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Corrientes FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Damian Gartzen hit a great ball. Corrientes FC's Godofredo Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Umea in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Corrientes FC's Nunez Teyo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Romo was left in no man's land by his defense there! LUMIERE F.C.'s Rogelio Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save LUMIERE F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Corrientes FC's Nunez Teyo got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes Corrientes FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Teyo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Corrientes FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
