Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Garikoitz kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Deportivo BENTOLO booed when CHACARITA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, CHACARITA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Garikoitz came free, but Cristo Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Fernando Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dionisio Gaztea fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHACARITA JUNIORS's protests and gave Dionisio Gaztea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Dionisio Gaztea got a free kick in the 11th minute. CHACARITA JUNIORS's Eriberto Onofre got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CHACARITA JUNIORS's Cristo Maurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Garikoitz in the 22nd minute of play. Jimeno Fix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dionisio Gaztea. In the 30th minute Fernando Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Fix acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filomeno Calixto. Edelmiro Llorenc hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Filomeno Calixto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimeno Fix. Deportivo BENTOLO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jimeno Fix made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eriberto Onofre sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CHACARITA JUNIORS booed when Deportivo BENTOLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Onofre to make the kick off. Jimeno Fix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Onofre's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Fernando Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cristo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Deportivo BENTOLO's Fernando Garikoitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Donio during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo BENTOLO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Guido Donio hit a great ball. Fernando Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Guido Donio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Maurin. CHACARITA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Donio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cristo Maurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Donio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernando Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Guido Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Deportivo BENTOLO got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Iratxo. In the 84th minute, Eriberto Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Guido Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo BENTOLO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Garikoitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristo Maurin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guido Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Maurin having to interfere. If Fernando Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
