Hugo Silvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sportivo Isla Verde booed when Santurce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. 汪升凡 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enéas Marquez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonzo Jerardo saved Sportivo Isla Verde from getting behind. Gaspar Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Hugo Silvino sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Santurce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Hug came free, but Gaspar Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Mikelar came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Isla Verde's Hector Guillerme. But to his dismay, Hector Guillerme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Santurce FC's Gaspar Mikelar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Santurce FC from getting a goal against them. Hector Guillerme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gaspar Mikelar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Silvino in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hector Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Isla Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Guillerme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Guillerme came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Mikelar could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute Nunez Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nunez Hug took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gaspar Mikelar to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Silvino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaspar Mikelar firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Isla Verde's zone, Isidro Gaizkine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Jerardo came out of the goal and Isidro Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Mikelar having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Hug was the one to do the kick off. Gaspar Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Hug in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Santiago Jurdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Mikelar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Marquez in the 60th minute of play forced Sportivo Isla Verde's goalkeeper Alonzo Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santurce FC's Fernando Igon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hector Guillerme scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Mikelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Moises Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Santurce FC got a freekick which was hit by 汪升凡. In the 79th minute, Isidro Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Santurce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Hug came free, but Gaspar Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Silvino in the 85th minute of play forced Santurce FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Santurce FC defense, Hector Guillerme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Mikelar. The Santurce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Mikelar should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Sportivo Isla Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Guillerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Santiago Jurdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gaspar Mikelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sportivo Isla Verde fully deserved thier win.
