Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zacarias Navarro started the match with the kick off. Jaime Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Gelmiro in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Rius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Angels! 16 minutes into the match, Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Gelmiro came free, but Jaime Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipat Benedetto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Lluis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Celso Macario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Nicholas in the 19th minute of the match. Celso Macario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Navarro in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo's zone, Feliberto Gelmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Lluis came out of the goal and Feliberto Gelmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angels's Celso Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Navarro in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpo's Amancio Jacob slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celso Macario. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. After 33 played minutes Angels got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Sabin. The supporters of Angels booed when Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fabian Nicholas hit a great ball. Jaime Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Gelmiro in the 43rd minute of play. Zacarias Navarro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Celso Macario skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Gelmiro made a kick off. Amancio Jacob might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Macario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Jacob ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Amancio Jacob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Macario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Arnulfo Tanio made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Angels's Filomeno Sabin. Filomeno Sabin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Sabin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, Feliberto Gelmiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jaime Lluis. Feliberto Gelmiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Angels's Pipat Benedetto got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Zacarias Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angels's Celso Macario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso Macario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Navarro went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Pipat Benedetto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Zacarias Navarro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Celso Macario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo. 86 minutes into the game, Olimpo's Zacarias Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Angels's zone, Amancio Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Macario came out of the goal and Amancio Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Olimpo's Zacarias Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Navarro in the 94th minute of play forced Angels's goalkeeper Celso Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Jacob in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Macario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olimpo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
