Gaspar Mikelar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Hanni went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Santurce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Feliu came free, but Gaspar Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Feliu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Mikelar. Gaspar Mikelar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gaspar Mikelar came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Relmo's Ceferino Feliu. But to his dismay, Ceferino Feliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 25 minutes into the game, Relmo's Fermin Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Mikelar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Ceferino Feliu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Mikelar. Gaspar Mikelar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 31 minutes into the game, Marcelo Hanni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Gaspar Mikelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ozan Titiz made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ceferino Feliu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Micael in the 39th minute of play forced Santurce FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Hanni in the 40th minute of play. Gaspar Mikelar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Micael went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the game, Amancio Mendebal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Gaspar Mikelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Gaizkine to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Relmo's Ozan Titiz made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Mikelar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceferino Feliu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gaspar Mikelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Relmo. Marcelo Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gaspar Mikelar made a huge save. Gaspar Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Feliu in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ceferino Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Santurce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Igon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Robert Holban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relmo's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Holban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Santurce FC defense, Ozan Titiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Mikelar. The Santurce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Mikelar should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Ceferino Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Hanni in the 74th minute of play forced Santurce FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Barros's late challenge caught a Relmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Santurce FC got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Barros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Hanni got free with Gaspar Mikelar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Ceferino Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marcelo Hanni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relmo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. In the 87th minute, Relmo's Ceferino Feliu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. 91 minutes into the match, Ceferino Feliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Mikelar. Santurce FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Feliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-16. Gaspar Mikelar was a little too slow when Fermin Micael got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-17. Relmo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
