The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Inge. EL PEPO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caffita Team the free kick. Hermengildo Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Caffita Team got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Quintun. 45 minutes into the match, Caffita Team's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Rainerio came free, but Nestor de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Pio in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elvio Rainerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor de Azevedo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Edgard Herauso got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Caffita Team booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Fidensio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Boniel saved EL PEPO FC from getting behind. EL PEPO FC played a much better game than Caffita Team and deserved their victory. The Caffita Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
