With a little luck, Penguin Juniors FC's Patricio Espiridion got control of the ball when Teofilo Fidele tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Buenos Aires City booed when Penguin Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Espiridion made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Teofilo Fidele sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored Penguin Juniors FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Bittor a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Licerio in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Espiridion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 minutes, Eriberto Vergaray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenos Aires City and the Penguin Juniors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Buenos Aires City got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Vergaray. After recieving a nice pass, Penguin Juniors FC's Jose Baldovino tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cecilio Hug made the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Buenos Aires City's Rosendo Sol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Espiridion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 77th minute Rosendo Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Penguin Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Bittor. Orlando Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Buenos Aires City's Raul Licerio in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
