Joaquin Tonio's late challenge caught a Buenos Aires City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Tonio helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in EL PEPO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Buenos Aires City. Baltasar Silviano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ezequiel Boniel. 0-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Silvano Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's Elvio Rainerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ezequiel Boniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Sol in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires City's Hugo Nicholas got a free kick in the 91st minute. The EL PEPO FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Buenos Aires City's performance. The match ended with a win for Buenos Aires City.
