The throw-in from Bujang Sadikin in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MALBEC's Guaberto Arnalt. In the 14th minute, Guaberto Arnalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andreas Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th match minute, MALBEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, MALBEC's Andreas Fredriksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The throw-in from Bujang Sadikin in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MALBEC's Guaberto Arnalt. Marengo's Serafim Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Fredriksson in the 29th minute of play. Andreas Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Serafim Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MALBEC. Silverio Maureo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Maureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, MALBEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Maureo to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Marengo's goalkeeper Serafim Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Fredriksson. MALBEC's Andreas Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Klack scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomil Trela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Klack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Trela having to interfere. Marengo's Serafim Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Chan in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marengo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Bide was slow to take the kick. During this time MALBEC's players had a chance to rest. Ranolfo Honorato tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Serafim Freitas. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Andreas Fredriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Freitas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Haroldo Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Haroldo Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that MALBEC were the better team. MALBEC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
