A sloppy throw-in by Remigio Txanton in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MALBEC's Guaberto Arnalt. Uriel Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, River Tu Grato Nombre's Oscar Txanton got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Segundo Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Fredriksson in the 18th minute of play. If Omar Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 23 in the game by Serafino Dimo from a close distance when the talented Radomil Trela managed to make a qualified save. MALBEC's players were relieved. After 25 minutes of play, MALBEC's Omar Chan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 played minutes River Tu Grato Nombre got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Cordairo. MALBEC's Segundo Bide took a good shot, in the 30th minute, which hit the crossbar above Uriel Veremundo's head, and flew over the goal. River Tu Grato Nombre's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by MALBEC. In the 30th minute of the match Segundo Bide shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Veremundo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The MALBEC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when MALBEC's Omar Chan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uriel Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Fredriksson in the 34th minute of the match. MALBEC's Radomil Trela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save MALBEC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, MALBEC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Dimo came free, but Radomil Trela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Txanton made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Armando Manuelo immediately put the ball in play. Andreas Fredriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half MALBEC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Leopoldo Banegas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Radomil Trela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Tu Grato Nombre. In the 60th minute Omar Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Veremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Chan in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Haroldo Brais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MALBEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Tu Grato Nombre the free kick. In the 65th match minute, MALBEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Brais to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MALBEC's zone, Leopoldo Banegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomil Trela came out of the goal and Leopoldo Banegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Veremundo was a little too slow when Andreas Fredriksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Haroldo Brais hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Radomil Trela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Arnalt during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MALBEC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guaberto Arnalt hit a great ball. Leopoldo Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Segundo Bide hit a great ball. Armando Manuelo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radomil Trela. MALBEC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Uriel Veremundo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Dimo in the 88th minute of play forced MALBEC's goalkeeper Radomil Trela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
