Mateo Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gervasio Burni came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bauti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Burni couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bauti FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bartolo Hats hit a great ball. With his leg Maximiliano Eliazar managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Bauti FC's Gervasio Burni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mateo Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Dantae in the 32nd minute of play. Antonio Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Deportivo Lolypop's Maximiliano Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gorosti in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lolypop's Mateo Gumaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Claus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Lolypop's goalkeeper Maximiliano Eliazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateo Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Dantae in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Bauti FC's Leandro Damario seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leandro Damario the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bauti FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leandro Damario had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Bauti FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bauti FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Burni to make the kick off. Cecilio Dantae kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bauti FC's keeper Mateo Claus was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 58th minute Mateo Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bauti FC booed when Deportivo Lolypop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Burni in the 63rd minute of play forced Deportivo Lolypop's goalkeeper Maximiliano Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Gumaro in the 76th minute of play forced Bauti FC's goalkeeper Mateo Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bauti FC's Mateo Claus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Bauti FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gervasio Burni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bauti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Burni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Lolypop made a substitution. Santiago Ieltxu replaced Virgil Gherdan. Gervasio Burni might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Eliazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Burni ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Burni in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Isidro Tipi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateo Claus, 1-2. If Gervasio Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Lolypop walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
