That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Higuera's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Teodor came free, but Adan Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Feliciano Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Teodor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With his leg Damiano Santucci managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Higuera's Feliciano Lorien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Feliciano Lorien might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Santucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Lorien ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
52 minutes into the game, Feliciano Lorien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Damiano Santucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliciano Lorien kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Eustacio Teodor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Adan Gau made a huge save. In the 59th minute Sporting Cock were awarded a corner. Federico Barrionuevo went to the cornerflag to take it. Federico Barrionuevo made a great header on Sporting Cock's corner, it was just that Higuera's Adan Gau managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Higuera booed when Sporting Cock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Cock's Damiano Santucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Neto in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Higuera's Teodosio Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Santucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adan Gau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Teodor in the 94th minute. Higuera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
