Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Soter got the match started through his kick off. Pulares Ekatombe FC's Anier Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Pulares Ekatombe FC from getting a goal against them. Adan Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Soter in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Gau saved Higuera from getting behind. After 26 minutes, Marcelo Soter made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Higuera's Adan Gau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marcelo Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Cuarto's late challenge caught a Pulares Ekatombe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Cuarto helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Soter in the 33rd minute of play forced Higuera's goalkeeper Adan Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Teodosio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ricardo Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Anier Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Neto to make the kick off. Rolando Presebal's late challenge caught a Higuera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Gau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adan Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Pelagius in the 64th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Pulares Ekatombe FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Acuña. In the 75th minute Teodosio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Neto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 0-5 became the score in the 87th minute when Marcelo Soter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 94th minute Teodosio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Arsenio Mikolas got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Aquilino Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Gau skillfully saved the ball.
