Anier Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Patxi in the 7th minute of the match. If Clodoveo Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Soter in the 17th minute of play forced Moquehuá AFC's goalkeeper Isidoro Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Cristofol in the 23rd minute of play forced Pulares Ekatombe FC's goalkeeper Anier Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Pulares Ekatombe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Cristofol came free, but Anier Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Bermudez in the 34th minute of play. Isidoro Min showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Moquehuá AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Wilfredo Txartiko hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Ricardo Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulares Ekatombe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marcelo Soter charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Soter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, Pulares Ekatombe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Soter to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Txartiko in the 51st minute of play forced Pulares Ekatombe FC's goalkeeper Anier Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Min came out of the goal and Ricardo Perfecto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Moquehuá AFC booed when Pulares Ekatombe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Cristofol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Anier Bermudez made a huge save. When Moquehuá AFC's Wilfredo Txartiko in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pulares Ekatombe FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Ivan Victoro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Moquehuá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Victoro couldn't finish the play. Ivan Victoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Bermudez made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ivan Victoro sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Moquehuá AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
