After having played for 5 minutes, Armando Rameriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacaflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Rameriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Pepe Sand made a precise shot to the right of Anier Bermudez. Pulares Ekatombe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Chacaflores's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Soter came free, but Kasper Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Rameriz's late challenge caught a Pulares Ekatombe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Rameriz helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the game, one of Chacaflores:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kasper Buffon had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Aquilino Neto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Pulares Ekatombe FC's Marcelo Soter got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Ricardo Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Marcelo Soter took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kasper Buffon to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcelo Soter made the kick off in the second half. When Ricardo Perfecto fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pulares Ekatombe FC's protests and gave Ricardo Perfecto a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Perfecto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Anier Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match Armando Rameriz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Bermudez skillfully saved the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Chacaflores's Pepe Sand made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Bermudez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kasper Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Perfecto in the 66th minute of play. Anier Bermudez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Paranaense went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 70 played minutes Chacaflores got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Sand. In the 71st match minute, Pulares Ekatombe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Anier Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Sand in the 76th minute of play. Rodolfo Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Armando Rameriz, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Francisco Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Anier Bermudez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacaflores. 84 minutes into the match, Pulares Ekatombe FC's goalkeeper Anier Bermudez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Sand. 84 minutes into the game, Pepe Sand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anier Bermudez. Pepe Sand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Pulares Ekatombe FC's Sebastian Pelagius quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Egon Kling, made in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Soter in the 91st minute of play forced Chacaflores's goalkeeper Kasper Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pulares Ekatombe FC's Anier Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Paranaense in the 93rd minute of play. The Chacaflores players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
