The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sniffing Glue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VdeVENGANZA -OFF- the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Sniffing Glue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Beliran to maneuver through the defense. Saul Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Abaunza in the 21st minute of the match. When Melquiades Guipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sniffing Glue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Guipuzkoa couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Guipuzkoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sniffing Glue's Baltasar Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Guipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Cosme Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Janpier having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Melquiades Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sniffing Glue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Guipuzkoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Guipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Janpier was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Melquiades Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jeremias Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Vasco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sniffing Glue's Saul Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sniffing Glue from getting a goal against them. The VdeVENGANZA -OFF- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sniffing Glue were winning 0-1.

Jeremias Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Guipuzkoa in the 53rd minute of play. If Samuel Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Armando Gelmiro fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VdeVENGANZA -OFF-'s protests and gave Armando Gelmiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, VdeVENGANZA -OFF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Amadeo Dino in the 56th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jeremias Janpier's left hand side. Sniffing Glue's Baltasar Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Guipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jeremias Janpier made a huge save. With his leg Jeremias Janpier managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Sniffing Glue's Melquiades Guipuzkoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sniffing Glue's Samuel Chesus got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind VdeVENGANZA -OFF-'s goalkeeper Jeremias Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sniffing Glue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramone Dellasierra in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Guipuzkoa in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Janpier saved VdeVENGANZA -OFF- from getting behind. Cosme Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Cosme Guzman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Janpier. Cosme Guzman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Jeremias Janpier made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Melquiades Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. If Melquiades Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jeremias Janpier managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Sniffing Glue's Melquiades Guipuzkoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sniffing Glue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
