Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alonzo Jakue got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute, Timoteo Dantae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Estación Chilavert fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alonzo Jakue scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Timoteo Dantae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Estación Chilavert fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Los Cardos 11 defense, Timoteo Dantae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Lauaxeta. The Los Cardos 11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by CSD Estación Chilavert's Timoteo Dantae. But to his dismay, Timoteo Dantae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 31 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Mel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Lauaxeta. Los Cardos 11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Mel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Alonzo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes of play, CSD Estación Chilavert's Timoteo Dantae made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Lauaxeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Emanuel Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Toribio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Lohitzun made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Jakue in the 56th minute of play forced Los Cardos 11's goalkeeper Mauricio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes CSD Estación Chilavert got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Gaskon. Candido Tello hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Benjamin Jaunti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Cardos 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSD Estación Chilavert the free kick. In the 64th minute, Benjamin Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Olo in the 66th minute of play. Candido Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mauricio Lauaxeta was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Alonzo Jakue capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alonzo Jakue really showed his touch with that goal: 1-11. The supporters of Los Cardos 11 booed when CSD Estación Chilavert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSD Estación Chilavert played a much better game than Los Cardos 11 and deserved their victory. The Los Cardos 11 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
