Mauricio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Alfredo Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Leandro Amor notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Cardos 11's Mauricio Lauaxeta. Mauricio Lauaxeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Lohitzun to strike the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Abadia hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Alfredo Rius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Lauaxeta. Los Cardos 11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Rius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Defferrari AFC's Silvio Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Lohitzun in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Amor in the 74th minute of play forced Los Cardos 11's goalkeeper Mauricio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Defferrari AFC's Leandro Amor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Lauaxeta. Mauricio Lauaxeta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. If Emanuel Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Defferrari AFC's Agustin Torres got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Leandro Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dalmacio Lohitzun came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Los Cardos 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Lohitzun couldn't finish the play. During the 87th minute of the match Rodrigo Celipe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rodrigo Celipe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute, Rodrigo Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Rius in the 96th minute of play forced Los Cardos 11's goalkeeper Mauricio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defferrari AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
