In the 39th match minute, Argentino de Dominico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Lluc to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argentino de Dominico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilfredo Erramu was slow to take the kick. During this time Uribelarrea's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Uribelarrea's Wilfredo Erramu to fire away a dangerous shot which Javier Urtzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Uribelarrea's Paata Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Mederi in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Fernando Leobardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 70 played minutes Argentino de Dominico got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Lluc. Javier Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Gabrio in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Uribelarrea booed when Argentino de Dominico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Mauricio Mederi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentino de Dominico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Paata Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
