The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Mauricio Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.D. Mauricio Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cordarrol having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentino de Dominico's Ceferino Harkaitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Cordarrol. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. Mauricio Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Argentino de Dominico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
