The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Maraman got free with Daniel Cordarrol in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodrigo Abascal fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Municipal's protests and gave Rodrigo Abascal a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Guerra en el campo's Prudencio Nastasio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 27th match minute, C.D. Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Liher to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Maraman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Cordarrol firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Guerra en el campo's Daniel Cordarrol threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteve Macario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Leonel Liher fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. After a rather tough play, C.D. Municipal's Melchor Omero got a free kick in the 48th minute. Saturnino Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Macario made a kick off. Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Macario came free, but Daniel Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Abelardo Maraman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Cordarrol was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. C.D. Municipal's Daniel Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Nastasio in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Abelardo Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Rodrigo Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Saturnino Egoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Cordarrol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Guerra en el campo's Celestino Belmiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rodrigo Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Guerra en el campo's Saturnino Egoitz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Esteve Macario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Daniel Cordarrol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes C.D. Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Urtzi. 91 minutes into the match, C.D. Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Macario came free, but Daniel Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Abelardo Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Nastasio took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Cordarrol. Daniel Cordarrol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Guerra en el campo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
