German Ixona was slow to take the kick. During this time Milano's players had a chance to rest. Javier Urtzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Raymon in the 77th minute. Reynaldo Chago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Dominguez having to make a save.
