The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernabe Guib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Asteri went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bernabe Guib was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Hugo Asteri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Asteri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The Duendes Verdes fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Duendes Verdes's Erasmo Elorri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernabe Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Elorri in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play, Duendes Verdes's Erasmo Elorri made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Guib was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, Duendes Verdes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Azeari to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rosendo Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duendes Verdes's Mateo Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes Pelotillehue got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Bautista. Bernabe Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Zacarias Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Guib. Pelotillehue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 41 minutes, Rosendo Otsoa made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Duendes Verdes's Mateo Santana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Rosendo Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelotillehue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Otsoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-2.

52 minutes into the game, Duendes Verdes's Erasmo Elorri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Guib made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. 59 minutes into the game, Erasmo Elorri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Bernabe Guib was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Duendes Verdes booed when Pelotillehue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Otsoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Guib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Jaizki went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-2 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Erasmo Elorri notched a goal, 10-2, to the right of Pelotillehue's Bernabe Guib. Bernabe Guib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Otsoa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Pelotillehue's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 82nd match minute, Duendes Verdes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Lope to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Maximino Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pelotillehue and the Duendes Verdes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Duendes Verdes booed when Pelotillehue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bernabe Guib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Elorri in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Duendes Verdes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
