Cristian Campestrini acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lorenzo Opilano. The referee ignored Club Atlético Arcos's protests and gave Godfredo Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rafael Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Þrándsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Arcos's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Bolshoy came free, but Rafael Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's Luca Langoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Errapel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Arcos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Bolshoy was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente Rivadavia's players had a chance to rest. Anton Bolshoy made a great header on Independiente Rivadavia's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Arcos's Rafael Errapel managed to reach the ball for a save. Zacarias Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Allan Þrándsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cristian Campestrini came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Arcos's Godfredo Nicholas. But to his dismay, Godfredo Nicholas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Cristian Campestrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nicholas in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Adan Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Campestrini. Independiente Rivadavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Shantala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Anton Bolshoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente Rivadavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Bolshoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Adan Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Arcos's goalkeeper Rafael Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Club Atlético Arcos's Rafael Errapel got control of the ball when Anton Bolshoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a left leg Rafael Errapel saved Club Atlético Arcos from getting behind. Anton Bolshoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Errapel having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Arcos booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Arcos fully deserved thier win.
