Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. Felipe Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Victorino Mogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cucao. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cucao should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Mino got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Felipe Mino from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Cucao managed to make a qualified save. Mainumby's players were relieved. Mateo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Tiadoro in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Chap came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Lázaro Chap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The coaching staff of Tama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiburcio Honrio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 36 minutes into the game, one of Tama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Mainumby. Adan Gonza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Medardo. 1-1. In the 44th minute, Victorino Mogel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guaberto Cucao. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Francisco Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Mino during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Mino. After 58 minutes Tama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justino Estavan who took care of the corner kick. Francisco Dominics short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Mateo Medardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nunez Gizon hit a great ball. Mateo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mainumby's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Estavan in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Justino Estavan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mateo Medardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Tama's Mateo Medardo got control of the ball when Francisco Dominic tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Adan Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Guerau hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mateo Medardo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nunez Gizon sent off a good shot on target. Tama's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
