Jeremias Tonio was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Victorio Nesto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorio Nesto really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After a rather tough play, El Punta F.C's Domingos Baraquiel got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Maxin got free with Jeremias Tonio in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, El Punta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Nesto came free, but Jeremias Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 53rd minute, Cristian Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armindo Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 60 minutes, Cristo Goyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romeo FC and the El Punta F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Hegoi in the 77th minute of play forced El Punta F.C's goalkeeper Jeremias Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Cristian Cortez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Gonçalves was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1.
