The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Abeitia got free with Jeremias Tonio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jeremias Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Lando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremias Tonio came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Lando slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 31st minute. Jeremias Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Ursino in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, El Punta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Etxahun came free, but Jeremias Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Santamarina FC booed when El Punta F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, El Punta F.C's Jeremias Tonio got control of the ball when Alfredo Abeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Lando struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Higinio Lando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Tonio was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Danilo Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Benedicto Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Benedicto Gartzea sped through El Punta F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Tonio. Jeremias Tonio came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Santamarina FC's Benedicto Gartzea. But to his dismay, Benedicto Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 81 minutes into the match, El Punta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Lopes came free, but Jeremias Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Schiacciacasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Benedicto Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santamarina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Gartzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Elias Etxahun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Tonio. El Punta F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Etxahun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Gartzea in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Tonio saved El Punta F.C from getting behind. There was no doubt that Santamarina FC were the better team. Santamarina FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
